The Method

FreeSpirit Dance Method

Dance is not about technique. It is learning how to find your way back to yourself.

A Method Built on Four Pillars

FreeSpirit Dance Method is an original freestyle dance education, systematized by active battler Conscious P over more than ten years of teaching.

Not a “lesson that hands you choreography,” but an educational system that raises dancers — a formless teaching method weaving technique, mindset, meditation, and breath into one.

The Four Pillars of the Method

① Technique — Build a body that can truly dance

Learn the foundations, rhythm, and body mechanics behind freestyle in a way you can reliably repeat.

② Mindset — Break free from judgment. Find your own center

Training your thinking to aim for “returning to yourself” instead of “looking good.”

③ Meditation — Sharpen your senses, move without hesitation

Placing stillness before and after movement restores the dialogue between body and mind.

④ Breath — Release tension and anxiety, and dance lighter

The quality of your breath decides the quality of your movement. Breathwork you can use in daily life, too.

Shu-Ha-Ri

Three Brush Strokes Symbolizing Shu, Ha, Ri

Shu-Ha-Ri is a three-stage concept of mastery. Without realizing it, my teaching had always mirrored this idea — I only recently learned it was an actual Japanese philosophy.
These three brush strokes symbolize the three stages of mastery in dance.

守 — SHU

“Protect” — learning the fundamentals faithfully

Learning core principles and technique from your teacher without deviation. You receive the “why” of movement and let it soak into the body.

破 — HA

“Break” — experimentation and application

Building on the foundation of Shu, you begin to experiment, expand, and question — dismantling the idea that “it has to be this way.”

離 — RI

“Leave” — becoming your own style

Technique becomes second nature. You move beyond existing forms into a style that is intuitively, uniquely yours. This is what “FreeSpirit” means.

Sacred Geometry: Seed of Life

Sacred geometry — the Seed of Life. A symbol of life, connection, balance, and the blueprint of growth.

What changes when you train this way.

You start moving from “how I feel” rather than “how I am seen.”

After a lesson, your shoulders drop and your breathing deepens.

It becomes easier to come back to yourself outside of dance too — at work, with family, with yourself.

You become aware of your body’s habits and tension.
